I remember once, I was with an old friend of mine, and I needed to cry. It was a long time coming, and something he said struck a memory. Anyways, while he was telling me that it would all be okay, I apologized for breaking down, he said "Don't worry, everyone needs days like this."
Do you ever think about the things that make you cry, or make you feel like nothing will ever be better again?
Things that mean so much to you, like people, things an ex never did for you, or what they did to you, people who always used to be there, but aren't anymore because they moved away or passed away. Do you ever feel like you're missing out on life? Sometimes even if you don't want to - you have to think about that stuff, you need to cry, whether it's by yourself, with a pet or someone close to you, everyone needs days like this.

I may have been getting over a love.
Through different stages in your life there are new fashions, new friends, new trends, new men/women, new opportunities, and new music.
Music - The one thing that has stayed steady in my life since the day I was born. Sure my musical taste has varied quite a bit since I've grown, learned new things and went through good and bad times, but in the end music has always been there and I will always have an appreciation, love and memory attached to one or more songs in each phase of my life. I may not think of a song daily or the person/memory attached to the lryics - but when the song plays, I am aggressively (in a polite manner) reminded why I love or loved the song so much.
When I hear the song I am brought back to a moment that sticks out the most - a memory that defines and makes me who I am today, the way I felt, who I was with and the smile on my face. But, sometimes you don't want to hear the beat or lyrics that bring you back to those tender moments of a chapter passed. Sometimes you want to shut off the radio and turn the page because you are trying to start writing the new chapter in your life.
Even sometimes you forget the lyrics to a loved song, just like you forgot the sound of someones voice, or the words of love they once sang to you.
Years from your angered moment, or months after you will inevitably hear a song that brings you back and maybe at that moment you will want to stop, listen and let yourself go back. Back to a moment that made you feel alive. A moment you thought would never reoccur but you realize you have felt as alive or even more so since that sentence or paragraph in your life, and inevitably it will happen plenty more times. Just because you turn a page or the song skips, doesn't mean it's over there are still plenty more pages, plenty more songs, and plenty more bitter sweet memorable moments.

New to blogging.
Anyone who has an msn account remembers the blogs that were (or are they still available to use?) available. I used to post on that, but that doesn't count. So I decided I would start a blog, why not right? I have an entire binder full of thoughts I've had. I haven't written for a long time, and perhaps, this would be a good push for me to start again. Posting previous, and already written(by me) thoughts are sure to stir up new ideas and motivation, or so I'm hoping.
So here goes.
